The melodious rhythms of Ashanti’s ‘Maléwèz’ catapulted Courts Babonneau Steal Orchestra to a 4th Consecutive Panorama Title on Sunday July 9th. On a night filled with grandeur, the musicians gave fine account of themselves, leaving patrons in awe.
Chairperson of the Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC), Ms. Tamara Gibson, noted that the event highlighted the diligent efforts of arrangers and players throughout several months and the results were testament to hard work being rewarded.
“As usual, the level of youth involvement in Panorama is extremely commendable. The bands put in several months of hard work and it clearly shows in the delivery of their performances. But I must say special congratulations to Courts Babonneau for securing the Panorama title for the 4th consecutive year, and to all the other bands, I look forward to the attempts to dethrone them next year” she said.

The winners on the night were as follows:
Winner – Courts Babonneau Steel Orchestra – 267 points
1st Runner- Up – LUCELEC Pantime Steel Orchestra – 258.5
2nd Runner- Up – Pantastic Muzik Steel Orchestra – 255
