One man is dead following a shooting in Babonneau on July 8th. Emergency personnel responded to a call at 11:40 p.m. and found the victim unresponsive with a bullet wound to his body. Efforts to resuscitate the individual were to no avail. Police are still investigating the details surrounding the incident.
