The Royal St. Lucia Police Force have been initiated investigations to examine the circumstances surrounding the violent death of a man in Dierre Fort. The incident occurred on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at approximately 8:57 p.m. According to reports, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries received a report about the discovery of an unresponsive male at Capital Hill, Morne Fortune, Castries.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement found a male lying on a concrete road with an apparent head injury. The victim, identified as Denroy Saltibus, also known as ‘Bounty,’ was subsequently transported to the Owen King European Union (OKEU) Hospital, where a medical practitioner pronounced him dead.
This incident marks the third homicide for 2024. Authorities are urging anyone with crucial information related to this case to contact the CID at 4563770 or the nearest police station.
