General Manager

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of Hot FM Communications Ltd. This role demands strong business acumen, a understanding of the media industry, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, revenue generation, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for both television and radio platforms.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, clients, and partners.
    • Lead sales teams in generating new business and maximizing existing accounts.
    • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
    • Assist in develop and implement competitive and creative sales packages strategies based on market analysis.
  • Station Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of station operations, including programming, production, engineering, and finance.
    • Develop and implement station’s strategic plan in alignment with company goals.
    • Manage and develop a high-performing team across all departments.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Manage station budget and financial performance.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement customer service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Address corporate clientele’s complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
    • Represent the station at community events and industry conferences.
  • Leadership and Development:
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to the station team.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Identify training and development needs for employees.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales and revenue generation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years Management Experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The General Manager will be responsible for the following key performance indicators (KPIs):
