The family of a man who met an ill-fated death in a bizarre road accident, is urging authorities to fix the road system. The motorcyclist hit a pothole before careening out of control. Despite increasing public pressure on the infrastructure department to promptly address the issue, the road conditions are deteriorating. The grieving family believes their loved one’s death was likely as a result of the hazardous road condition, and they emphasize the need to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.
“Ministry of Infrastructure, please do something with our roads” a cousin of the deceased said. “If y’all drive around and see a pothole try to patch it up, do something. Because, if that crater wasn’t there my cousin would still be alive.
Government officials continue to face mounting pressures from the public, to fix the island’s roads soon.
